I went for the Black diamond performance ( pretty mild I would guess ) clutch, it was only £200 I'm hoping its a bit better than standard at least, see how it goes anyway....

...Does everyone's induction kit make a mad sort of sucking noise when boosting, i dont seem to get much of the infamous induction roar, but I definately get a wierd sound of air being sucked, is this normal?

Downpipe on monday hopefully

sadly POTN have told me they are having trouble getting hold of the TurboXS H-RFL which I ordered over a week ago :ffs:

quick question as my clutch is on the way out. Did you fit it yourself? or did a garage do it?

How long did it take you / them ?

and if them How much did they charge?

Cheers

Mine is just a cheap one but the car had a k&n filter on it when i bought it and it was rubbish!

Very quiet and no performance gains to speak of.

but the one i have now is pretty good for what i paid for it and it sounds lovely

i have a k&n and it whistles before the 2500 rpm line, after that it gives a lovely roar, has a distinct burble to it as well, or it did before i put an exhaust on that drowns it out.

Thats Kinda of what I was thinking... If you dont mind me asking bibbs How much did you pay? Please PM me if you dont want to post Jus I'm working on a budget & wondering I can afford it now or just nurse the car along (not that bad ATM) and save up. Obviously dont want to do the second as It's a problem that needs sorting.

Millway were about £40 per hour, plus VAT.

Hard to say really as I also got a laod of other stuff done (exhaust, de-cat, service, brake disks & pads) at the same time.
