Is a rolling road those big wheels you put your car on which can measure your bhp and all that?

Nice result. I think Nizan's car got 116bhp with a cat-bypass kit, induction kit, and a unichip.

I refer to it as a Dyno personally, but that's how I know them.

Dyno - Dynojet Rolling Road...

*looks at someone with Fuji and Apexi

You know what you have to do. I was quite shocked at that 120bhp actually. That just the backbox you have on there as well?

That it? Cool.

Wonder what abouy a Fuji with Apexi would give?

itd probably be worst than standard without a very good cold feed

Remember people all rolling roads are different, so say he didn't do any mods, his standard on that rolling road could have been 119bhp, you just never know, the only way to accurately tell what kind of increases you are getting is to go on the said rolling road as standard and then put on your mods and then go back on the same rolling road preferably in the same weather conditions as they can make a difference aswell!

Rant over btw!

Dynojet say there can be as much as 10bhp difference, plus or minus, between different dynos.

Of course as Ryan mentioned, the weather conditions also have a lot to do with the final output.

A nice cool sunny day will give optimum results.

yer, air pressure is wot makes the difference i believe. a crisp sunny day is probably better than a overclouded muggy day (i.e. thick air).

although if i remember correctly, miss t-sport or someone got 120bhp with the HKS backbox too. Must be a good backbox.

Not quite. The density of the air is what makes a difference. On a cold day, obviously the air is cooler, and thus denser, which means you can get more air into the cylinders.

Putting your car on a dyno and then comparing your results to other peoples is pointless unless they are all done on the same day at the same dyno. 10BHP difference between rolling roads is an understatement, i've seen 20BHP differences.
