Very nice mate :thumbsup:

The paint you need is made by folia tec and is available from Halfords.

Its very easy to use but i'd advise takin the lights off and doing it in a nice warm place

because the paint tends to dry very dull if there is damp in the air.

pretty much straight away.

the key is to use about 3-4 light coats and allow about 5 mins between each one,

that way you shouldn't get any runs.

Dont rush it!! ;)

<TWENTY QUESTIONS>

Will it still pass the MOT OK?

What colour does it flash?

Is it enough tint to turn the light red?

</TWENTY QUESTIONS>

:D

Looks great, mate.

As long as you dont put any more than 3-4 coats on it, they will still flash orange :thumbsup:

That looks really good. Been wondering what to do about the orange bits for ages. It should still pass MOT i would have thought, if it flashes orange. Lots of new cars dont have an orane lens for the indicators so.. :)

My old Rover, I tinted the whole back light unit black. All lights shone bright and I put a few heavy coats on. Legally you cant put tint on the reflectors, but I did and it still sailed the MOT.

also did you spray the whole cluster or just the orange bit?

I just sprayed the outside part of the light that was orange,

didnt do the parts that are already red... ;)

When you look up close does it look matt or gloss? I have only managed to get a matt look before which is a bit annoying.
