thinking about buy a '90 185 gt4 done 136000miles:

is the mileage too high to consider buying or are these cars pretty good in the long run?

secondly the car has a problem with the ?clutch bearing? and also a slight oil leak...worse case scenario how much will this cost me to GET fixed (cos i have the mechanical nouse of some sort of goat)?

with this in mind and the fact that body work is fairly sound what would be a good price...i think i could get it for 1100

cheers for your help

136,000. Barely run in. My '91 Celica has 167,000 on the clock. Getting a clutch sorted will only cost a few hundred (main dealer). Might be worth an AA or RAC check just in case of anything major lurking elsewhere that could prove costly later.
