Money Money Money

Just thought I had stopped spending money on the old Celica for a bit but noticed yesterday that one of the rear brakes is not working (disk still had surface rust after a long drive) a considerable amount of hearvy braking seemed to free it up but as it is brakes better have it checked.

While underneath noticed that the back box has a rust stop on it and the join between the back box and mid-section is severely rusted (hard to tell whether it is just superficial but there were certainly chucks of rust faloing off) Anyone know the price of a decent back box for the ST?

Finally, some :censor: has scratched and dented my spoiler. Only slightly damaged but it is the first bit of damage (including stone chips) that my 8 year old car has sustained. May need counselling!!! :crybaby:

:( i feel you pain. Maybe we could start a counselling group here!.

I too am feeling the hefty whack of the wallet...I need

New cam belt

New alloy/alloys if its no longer available

2 front tyres @120 quid each

A big scratch sorting

ruddy tracking (hopefully) or its a bent bit underneath :!Removed!:

Oh and new backbox!!!

So i think the celica section needs a group hug/pick me up section!!!!!

I too am experiencing the wallet drain. I need a new clutch, and new tyres all round. On top of that I'm quite desperate to get a decent set of 17's to replace the stock 15's I have at the moment. That's the only thing stopping me changing the tyres straight away. Also, it's pulling slightly to the right recently. Quite concerning as I've not hit any curbs or anything so I can't see why the tracking would be out. Still I'll have that checked when I get new tyres/wheels.
