Back In To Dealer Again, Robbed!

Had a faulty interior light for a few weeks, kept flicking on and off or not working at all. Mates an auto electrician got him to check bulb and fuses, no problem must be dodgy wiring he tells me, take it in to dealer under warranty..

Light cuts out altogether, as does radio/cd, satelite, central locking to name a few,

Into dealer, fixed next day, back to pick up car charged £70.

Told a wire was cut/snapped in roof, not covered under warrenty as it wasnt an electrical component. (what is a wire then?) Makes a fuss then told "no sorry picked that up wrong", it was just the bulb and a fuse, but we stripped back the wires to and behind the fuse box, just incase of corrosion?. no corrosion , just fuse /bulb £70 thanx.

Aye right,

Phones warranty people, nobody phoned them to claim anything on warranty.

Dealers lying then, Got garauntee(proof) nobody phoned them>

Complained to Toyota gb, waiting on there reply.

Car 2 and a half years old when I bought it, had nothing but bother over the past 14 mnths of ownership.

In twice for steering problems, Rack eventually changed.(back in day after it was changed as it wasnt done properly,) six months on and the squeeks and squeals are as bad as ever.!!!!

Front brake discs coroded and warped, changed under warranty, 10 months on need attention again, coroded and scored, not even done 10k since replaced new...

Engine management light on, Oxy sensor needs replaced, gets it fixed, drives 2 miles home, Engine management light back on. Back to dealer, same scenario as before.. Had to go in 5 times and have the same prob sorted and the same sensors changed within a month.

Seemed Okay for a while, renewed warranty just incase, Engine management Light back on......... New cat conv fitted........

Full toyota service history(£275 for last service)

Extended warranty 1 year(£395)

£70 for a bulb/ fuse and a few lies eh?

Why did I ever buy a toyota?????????

this is just why i will never buy a new motor.also toyota mechanics are mostly monkeys fresh outa school.they dont fix cars ,they replace parts is all.how does £1200 for a gt4 clutch sound ? i called mr.clutch £400
