If you can put the car back to standard then you've got a better chance of selling it for the best price.

Usually, you'll never recoup what you've spent on modding a car.....and it's a lot easier to sell a standard car than find someone who wants the exact car you have, modded in the exact way that yours is .

Yeah mate returning it to standard would be your best option, would draw a bigger crowd of potential buyers and could probably sell it for the same price!

Just had a look. Despite its nice, I would change alot of the MODs myself. Modifiying a car is to personal taste, trying to sell something of your own taste can be a hard thing to do.

Leave the tints on, I guess you cant remove them anyway.

Yeah unfortunately other peoples taste in cars is never the same as your own - a modded car will be harder to sell.....

You could take the mods off - and offer them as an added extra perhaps? So if the buyer is interested in what you have, you can sell them as "add-ons" - if not you can either keep them or sell them seperately on eBay or something!

Thign is mate, depends whos buying , personally if i was looking at a car modded up id think "hmm maybe this car has been ragged all the time dont like the sound of that", no mods is likely your not been ragged it. Im not sayin that you have or do, its just the joyboy culture associated with exhaust's air filters etc, even thoough you could be the most careful driver and never race the car.

just imo

Hi,

If you can find someone on here who's interested as it is, fair do's.

But for maximum sale chances, it's better sold in standard form.

Young and old from all walks of life buy standard cars, so it increases your chances of a sale.

You could also sell the modified bits within the yaris Forum, and re-coup some of the money.

Just another idea

in ireland you can sell a fully modified car in a modified car mag so you get the right people to buy

Sorry mate I have to disagree there. Yes, Jap imports can be ragged, but as long as you know what you are looking for, you're not going to have any problems. Mine was a 2001 model, 27,000km on the clock when i got it, now has 36,000 on it, never had a problem, Same with my mates RS. Only ones I have known to have problems over here have been Glanza V's. Most are highly modded when they arrive here and have been used on tracks. But like I said, if you take someone with you that knows a fair amount about modded engines, they can easily pin point potential problems and how much they would cost to fix. Logical really...
