Morning all,

I've been lurking around here for a while now and have a bit of a problem so thought it'd be as good a time as any to get posting. :)

Simplest way to describe it is that I have a really squeaky exhaust, problem is it's intermittent so I can't get it to happen when I'm at a garage. It occurs when the car has been worked hard such as a long motorway drive or a nice B-road blatt, usually when there is a little moisture in the air but only when the car is idling. The noise sounds like a psychotic mouse and seems to be coming from the area behind the rear drivers side wheel. I've had a look underneath and there is a joint between the main pipe which runs down the length of the car and what I'm assuming is the start of the backbox. I reckon it's either that joint or the mountings of the backbox.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I've had this problem but it went away itself!
