Hi Guys,

Just got my 2001 RAV checked out by the local dealer after my engine check light came on. They confirmed - after a bit of prodding - that the fault was 'catalyst efficiency below threshold', as covered in TSB EG010-02.

Question is - has anyone in the UK managed to get this sorted out free by Toyota when their car is out of warranty?

I am pretty annoyed that I may have to pay for the dealer to update the ECU when Toyota have known about the fault for 4 years?!? Shields in Glasgow want £70 for the pleasure.
