Only just noticed this yesterday when doing a bit of motorway driving, that there is a very annoying loud, and I mean loud! rattle noise coming from the passengers side and only sounds when driving over 65MPH!

Not sure if somethings has come loose in the door/dash, suspect something more serious. :help:

Any thoughts?

Thanks :(

I test drove a red Mk2 Turbo in Gloucester and it had a sound that started at 65mph + I thought it was just something loose in the front bonnet.

Does it sound like a big sheet of metal hitting something ? sort of a clanking noise ? Might be worth opening up the bonnet and making sure the Battery etc are all secure before panicing..

skeete

When I got my Border front fitted a while ago I didnt bolt the end parts of the plastic shield back on and the force of the wind when driving over 60 mph made the plastic rattle off the wing/bumper.. look under and around the front for loose plastic shielding, there is loads of it.. even under the car.

try checking the black cowling that your wipers are in...you know the black plasic part that runs beneath your window. They pop off at the ends mines just snapped.
