After a nice accident with my MR2, I have been given an '04 Yaris T2 as a courtesy car. After spending a week hating it, basically because it wasn't my MR2, i'm now falling in love with it.

What i would like to know is what is it? Ie engine etc as no one told me anything about it and to be honest i was a bit gutted having to leave my car...... :D

I've been giving it some recently, only just realised that when you get to 4.5 upwards it really goes! Very very nice small car. Last experience of a small car I had was an M reg corsa auto, less said about that the better!

If its a T2, surely it can only be a 1.0?

(goes off to check Mr. T website)

Yeah, you've been in charge of 998cc of pure... engine!

Cfc's pretty much hit the nail on the head - they might not be fast, but they're good fun.

Yep - the Yaris is a car to be proud of after all!

Has it tempted you to change then? I doubt it, but cant blame a girl for trying! :D

Yeah lets not even go there with regards to Corsas..... :P

T3 has both of those, but the Colour Collection is the best balance of toys to price at the moment...

Yeah, they're giving them away at the moment which is why I'm getting one!

Yup .. and they normally bring out the colour collections just before they release a new facelift or new model, to extend the sales of the existing model just a bit more. Bring on the new Yaris! :D

Since you own a MR2 you probably wont be happy with anything less than a TS but the blue is dirt cheap at the moment with loads of necessary extras (CD, AC etc)

Is that true? Got a feelin I've been criminally lightweight with my drivin now

You think the T2 1.0l flies?

Wait till you get hold of a T3 1.3!

I had that as a courtesy car for a month, and that was quick...

*ponders about test driving a T-sport, even though he can't buy one...
