Ive had my alignment "laser" checked and its ok but it drives to the right ALL the time if my wheel is straight! My wheels dont look straight tho either... incidently they both point to the right when my wheel is straight!

how can i fix this... in the past ive removed the steering wheel and put it back on on another angle but im unsure how to remove the wheel with the airbaggy in the way!

thankyou

christian

cheers mate

the place that did my tracking also cooked my clutch so im not going to take it back to them... the less people that touch my car the better IMO.

Ive just decided now that all i WANT to do for now is pull the steering wheel off and put it back on different! Any ideas if this is possible?

Goto somewhere like ATS im off there to have my camber checked cos otherwise ive damaged something like a track rod..even tho 3 mechanics have said they look ok..

Somewhere that specialises in tyres i.e a weel known company will do it quite cheap and id do it that way rather than just do the steering wheel.......I went to a dodgy place and they did it with the wheel not straight...went to selecta tyre and they said it was way way out..10-2 should be 7-7 and after te wheel was straight!!

Cant say about the airbag/steering wheel think thats a pro job as if it goes off its a world of pain and a lot of cash to redo buddy!

Mine's pulling to the right as well. I though it may be a sticky right caliper but it's not getting hot so I don't think so. As your right pads are worn more than the other side this may be your problem though. My other theory is it's just tyres. I've had this on cars before where they behave strangly on worn out tyres and mine are just about had it. I know my trackings OK as the tyres have worn down evenly so I can't think it's anything else.

my car was pulling to the left, i had the tracking done and all four alloys rebalanced. after a bit i still noticed it was pulling to the left.

Mr T then did a full four wheel alignment which checked the camber, toe-in and loads of other things to do with the wheels which got printed out in a nice colourful diagram thing. both my front and back wheels needed certain adjustments to bring the total alignment within toyotas tolerance levels, thsi should ahve cost 80 bucks but thet did it for free since i had just bought it.

The strange thing is that i feel it still pulls the left a bit, but is that not a safety feature in all british spec cars

All cars will pull to the left just slightly due to the camber of the road. Perhaps this is all your feeling?
