Hi Guys,

Its my first time here so thought I'd introduce myself & also take the chance to ask for your advice if I can please.

The advice I'm after is I'm looking to change my current car & hopefully buy a ST185 Celica (You know the pop up light one incase I got the wrong model) preferably a GT4 but we'll have to wait & see me thinks, so what I need to know is what should I look for? Any major problems I should be aware of? & what sort of price should I be looking at for the GT4 or just the plain 4WS GT?

Thanks for the advice & help peeps its greatly appreciated & hopefully if all goes well you might see a new face at some of the meets

Neil

Hey Neil, welcome to the gang. You have a great taste in cars then. I drive a '91 Celica GT. Sexy as they come. Beautiful ride. :P B)

I have done 120,000 miles in it since I got it in 1997 making a total of around 167,000 on the clock and it still runs sweet as a nut.:thumbsup:

I have had 2 new clutches, alternator, Battery, brakes & discs all round, tyres (obviously), cam belt, power steering belt, exhaust system, and regular services.

They do wear out but keep an eye out and I cannot see why you should not be able to get a top notch example that will gives you loads of driving pleasure.:thumbsup:

Gordy.... B)
