whats the likely problem and is this common?, im guessing its the headlight motor?

its still lighting up just not raising? is it expensive to fix and is it possible to do it urself?

Is there a way of winding them up and down manually?

That must be annoying, I'm sure you can manually adjust them somehow. Don't get caught by the cops with it like it is now.

have a look in the front boot, there are two areas behind the lights.

You'll see little caps, pull them off, wind the button, light comes up.

Get a MM on the wires to see if it's a new motor or a wire problem.

I've got the same, but I never put my lights down. I got a spare motor to swap over when I have a moment.

And here's me thinking you're just showing off your low rise conversion on ALL the photos!!! :P

I only found out when someone else drove my car the other week (they put the lights down - I never bother :) )
