can any one in my area give me details of a good garage or mechanic for my tubby, who wont rip me off, and do a good job? i live in washington (near newcastle/sunderland)

Hmm, not sure how much HR Fastfir in newcastle (jesmond) just outa the city centre would charge for that, but Harry the owner is a top bloke, and their isnt much the mechy doesnt know about toyotas, looked and sorted my girl well!

i didnt ask, as i thought the engine had to come out to change it.? iv had 3 quotes so far 240 for the cambelt change, and the tensioner too.the other quotes are 280, and 220. do you think i this is to much to pay?

i have seen it done with the engine in , but it took about 4 hours to do.i would think about £ 150

I do most other stuff on my car, but it looks well tight ? - is it really that hard?

This really annoys me, because its a turbo AND MUPPETS WORKING IN GARAGES KNOWING jack SH@T they think they can take us for a ride!!!! :ffs:

I was told that it would take up to 3 hours as the belt can only be changed by going under the car - BUT THEY HAVE LIFTS IN A GARAGE DONT THEY!!!!

hi, rang cambells, but decided to go to the one at stanley, as its much closer for me, got it for 80 quid!!!!!!!! its booked for a weeks time.

im over the moon!!!!
