  • 3 weeks later...

HI THE OFFSET ON THE AVENSIS WHEEL SHOULD IDEALLY BE BETWEEN ET 35 TO ET 38,BUT MY SE 2000 AVENSIS COMES WITH alloys WITH ET 39 AS STANDARD

PCD IS 100 X 5 WITH A 54MM CENTRE BORE

MAKE SURE THE CENTRE BORE IS 54 MM AND NOT ANY LARGER AS IT WILL CAUSE LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH CENTERING THE WHEEL ON THE HUB

AS FOR A 40 MM DROP UNLESS YOU INTEND REPLACING THE COMPLETE DAMPER UNITS ON THE FOUR CORNERS AS WELL, STICK TO A 30MM DROP AS A MAXIMUM

Cheers

ill bear all that information in mind  :D

dear toyotamaniacs

greetings from outside uk :)

due to coming of spring an important question has risen.

can anybody tell what is the maximum measure of a tire if it fits on a 7,5x16 wheel and the car is t22?

will 215/55 fit? 7,5" wheel needs a minimum 215 imo? below 55 can´t be bacause of the great (not) roadconditions we have in Tallinn, EST

thanks,

teet

my 1995 celica gt4 has 215/55R16 fitted onto 16x7.5 wheels , it does however knock the speedo out by around 4 mph slower than what im actually travelling.

HI

TRY A 225 /50X 16

THAT SHOULD COVER THE 7.5 RIM AND STOP ANY SCUFFING OF THE ALLOY WHEEL

AND BECAUSE YOU WOULD USE A 225/50 THE SIDE WALL OF THE TYRE WOULD BE SIMMILAR TO THAT OF THE 55 SERIES 215
