Well, almost there, dunno if I will ever be happy though.!

Starlet has just come back from the paintshop. I've had the rubbing strips, mirrors and door handles painted met blue to match the car. Got my tte rear spoiler. 15" Corolla rims.

Next job is the indicators, I want to change to the clear type. I have searched the forum for info. But I get confused, no I'm dark haired.!

I called the local dealer who can't do anything without a part no. what is the no. for the clear indicators, not the repeaters ( I know they are Corolla's).

Thanks to all the info on this site tidying the car has been more simple than I thought...Thanks

Hi Shelly,

Thanks for that, they said that this number had been superceded. I will post the numbers when they arrive. Atleast that got him in the right area, rather than just saying "they don't exist"..!

Cheers

Geocool. He is a consultant Race Engineer, Last year was Rosberg in Germany DTM & F3. Has done F3000, Indy Car and F3. Mainly single seaters, but never Starlets...!

The car is standard inside, so I have bought an Alpine 9843 head unit, now I need a sub and amp, will I get something sensible for £150, any recommendations Glanzajim ? The other Speakers will get upgraded as I go along.

Thanks

I was seriously thinking of doing a post-grad in motorsport engineering down at Cranfield... Until I got so bored of mt course this year. Now I just want a job and some money.

Hint... Dont do a course that sounds impressive. (They have to attract people somehow- and it worked :ffs: )

im doing a foundation in engineering, before going to do a sandwich engineering degree...want to be a vehicle chassis engineer / test driver B)

Doing my honours year in Aerospace engineering at Glasgow Uni. I think it might just be the Uni but the course is too research based and is totally impractical where it comes to trying to get a job in industry, thats why I was considering that post-grad, Cranfield have good links to F1 teams and the likes... T-sport aswell  think of the discounts :D

for 150 u will struggle to get a sub and amp unless u go for say a package deal that companies do what sort of size u thinkin? 10 12 or 15? i have an audiobahn 12" with perfect matched JBL amd im tempted to sell or i may put it in zaras starlet

Hi Jim, I was thinking of a single 12". I don't want to blow everything on a sub, as I also want to change the oe Speakers as soon as I can.

My Dad says that the Cranfield course is pretty good. But the Motorsport world is overflowing with graduates at the moment. Many Ex Cranfield Guys are struggling to find work. The team he worked for in British F3 always used to take a Cranfield student during their studies. 1 is at XTrac, 1 is a junior Engineer in F3 team and the other unemployed..!

anyway err, i only had them cause i was bored and the mags i subscribed to in america had expired
