Hello all,

I am new here but have been a fan of the site since january when I discovered it. I have a red t-bar which I love but i'm looking for some help on a couple of topics please!

1 the windscreen wipers move as they should but the washer jets do not work at all

2 How do i change the sidelights - I'm having trouble getting the lenses out !

Any pearls of wisedom would be gratefully recieved!!!!! :)

Are you using the button on the end of the wiper stick to get the sprayers to work.. I moved from VW to Toyota and this one tricked me as pulling it only makes the wipers go once, press the button for spray :o

Hey,

Can you hear the pump buzzing? If not, then there's obviously a problem with it, check fuses and wiring. If it does seem to be running (and your full up with washer fluid) the nozzles could be blocked. This has happened many times to me in the past with various cars, bits of leaves and bugs get stuck down there. Try removing the nozzles and pushing some light fishing line through the holes, should be able to dislodge anything in there.

Thankyou all for the advise! - Better get cracking and see what I can do!

Washer jets should buzz, use a pin to unclog and direct them.

In winter it's common for them to freeze up as there is no engine heat to de-frost them ..
