hi guys and girls,

just joined the owners club. technically i am not an owner as i am trying to buy an mr2. i would really appreciate some advice as to the best post 95 mr2 i should be watching out for. i prefer the t bar. what faults if any should i be looking for when inspecting a mr2. thanx for listenin'.

Try and get hold of a Rev3 if your looking for post 1995, Rev3's started selling from 1994 so that's your best bet.

If not get a Rev 2.

Check the T-Bars if they're leaking. there are a couple of fixes for it but you could knock a bit off the price if it does leak (common problem)

Otherwise check the regular things, brakes, suspension, engine, oil, bushes, etc etc

Welcome to the club! Have you decided wether to get a turbo or an NA yet? As Razor has said a rev 3 or later is your best bet, however turbo rev3's cost roughly a grand more than a rev 1/2
