what engine is that? is it the 3L turbo?

No, it's the 3.0i without turbo.

Tony

Now that the cars are older thats better as it appears the Turbo ones seam to be more common for blowing head Gaskets.

I read about that on another forum. It appears that it could be down to the antifreeze used in the engines that causes the head gasket to go. Apparently you should only use coolant that does not contain silicates (the Toyota coolant doesn't have silicates but there are others as well) as they react with the material in the head gasket.
