I do not see why it cannot be moved. I have a DVD player under the passenger seat, and on ocassion it get a little knock or kick. I was thinking about knocking together a little mdf protection box, but have not as yet got round to it.

I do not know how long the loom is, but you could relocate it to the boot.

Hi I went back to the dealers and they say it should be under the drivers seat which makes more sense they say it was fitted at the port of entry into the uk

and have ordered some parts to refit it

Dealer rang me this morning and has changed its mind now says it can be moved but I will have to pay(approx 2.5 hours @£60 an hour)

Any of you guys know where I can complain to????

Damn..... I have a 2005 XT3 with the current congif:

Satnav dvd box under passenger seat (behind the CD changer)

Subwoofer under driver seat

The subwoofer is fine under the driver seat except that I tend to get slightly deafened after listening to music at high volume. For that reason, im thinking about relocating the subwoofer but where?

The satnav dvd is going to be a bit of a concern for me. Its further back than usual because it has to leave room for the CD changer which is at the front under the passenger seat.

Anyone know how I can rehouse them or should I leave them? I must admit it isnt a terrible set up but its not 100% ideal either.
