Bit Below Head Unit

I changed my head unit from the bit stock one to an alpine one and obviously to do that you have to buy one of those facia adapters.

Anyway got the FP-11-00 probably was the wrong one but it was one that covered up the gap below my new head unit which i wanted.

The problem is that from day one there was no way it was gonna fit, maybe it was just me, so with a bit of bother i modified it and made it fit. Now the B****** looks S****.

I've got afew ideas of what i might do like making a new plate and drill some holes in it with a blue light behind it might look raz. The draw back of this is i will probably screw it. I have a knack for doin that sorta thing.

I know you could get those cup holder things but i dunno where to get them. And if anyone had any other ideas that would be very welcome.

Ultimatly i want to put a screen in there and that would take alot of modding but i have a mate who can take care of that. At the moment i just want a quick fix that doesnt look crap.

You could get part 55521-16030 from mr T. looks good when fitted. There are photos of somebody elses 2 with it fitted in here:

Ive got that but its slightly different,

it has little lugs on each end for cd's to slot into.
