I take it you mean through the engine bay bulkhead?? If you take out the glovebox you`ll see the heater and gubbins. Up behind that there should be a bunch of wires with a biggish rubber grommet. Thats where i`d put it through. Bit fiddly getting to it without removing the heater but can be done.

is the heater the big white power station thing that was hidden behind the glove box?

or is that air con?.

mite have another shot at it once i get a bit more feedback, but believe me the poor car was in bits i stripped the passengers side, then failed that so stripped the drivers bit,

very nearly done away woth the rear washer by usiing the hose bit instead, but couldnt find where it came out.

oh the joys

The big white thing is the air con and heater combined. There is a grommet up behind the pedals on the drivers side as well, but it would be better to have a straight run from the Battery without going half way round the engine bay.

And as you so rightly say. The joys. Reckon i can take mine apart with my eyes shut now.

I've seen somebody get stuck fitting the power before, they ended up running it underneath the car along the handbrake cable, then up through a plastic plug in the spare wheel well. Not sure on the long term effects on the cable though?

I had no trouble getting a cable through the grommet Dak mentioned. It comes out in the passenger footwell/just up behind the heater box. But my car doesn't have air con, so maybe thats why yours is such a problem. Try lying on your back in the footwell and look up behind the heater, it may be easier than going in through the glove box aperture.

And I think removing the heater box is a big headache, and not worth the effort just to run a cable.

Ditto, i was running "0"gauge through this hole with no probs, just shove a bit through from engine bay then check up inside with a torch. Run same cablin through same route in my gen6 with no probs too.
