found this hiding behind the center box thing

two or three plugs stuck in the bottom?

spinning me out as i cant fathom what it is :lol: :ffs:

unless its an extra amp for the system with 2 subs? take it owt and see if owt doesnt work anymore, dont worry rico will fix it.

no markings on it at all?

take the cover off, im as intrigued as yo uare now, bringing my screwdriver with me tomorrow! well in a few hrs :D

can't be cos mines is rev 2 :wacko: where do the wires at the bottom go to?

edit

come to think of it since jim, bibbs and boundsw dont have it, it must make me the odd one out!! :blink: my car does have the rev5 recaro seats and had the "premium" sound system with DSP (rev 3+ only?) in aswell...I think my 2's got a split personality :ph34r:

was routing my ICE cables properly :)

CTOAN thought it was my alarm system box, but i dont have the Toyota alarm system on my car, albeit i do have alternative alarm equipment on my car and i do know where that is! :lol:

so nope its not that!

still stumped!

Does it have a part no on it? if so go to the dealer, they will be able to tell you....

it cant be anything aftermarket cos its bolted into stock holes and it all looks very ..well stock. Hmmm sat nav..when i got my car it had the stock cd player/tape/radio deck thing so i dont think its that either

You sure it's not an alarm control unit? I'll have to see if mine has got one when I get a minute. I don't have the upgrade speaker system so if I've got one, it definitely won't be anything to do wih that.

P.S. A guy on IMOC posted a similar question and they said it was the amp.

Its not an amp, mine has the premium sound system and they hide the amps under the rear Speakers.

Also, mine has the standard alarm system and toyota immob

so i'll have a look and see if mine has a silver box of mystery... :thumbsup:

The Toyota alrarm control on my rev 1 is in the wing on the Driver side, behind your seat. So I dunno if it's part of the alarm really.
