I have hooked up my alpine stereo in the two now.

Everything is workin fine which is good as that usually never happens for me.

I was drivin about listenin to the radio so its def workin which is fine but when i looked back at the aerial it was only about half way up.

The aerial goes up and down fine, i.e. when u trun the stereo on and off but it only goes up to halfway.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I was tempted to just pull is but i dont think that would be wise.

Is there any quick fix for this?

Thanx

Bryn

On a similar note..... It looks like I need a new aeriel. Are they the same on all models and are they the same on any other cars in the Toyota range?

its only a regualr leccy aeriel. has like a cable inside it which is driven up / down by a motor.

If they dont go up at all - could be snapped cable (mine was), and if it wont go all the way might be a flat spot (of teeth) on the cable ?
