first engine no good at idoe, if u tougch the gas padel a little be, then engine cut off, need to give more gas,

about the rev, when is around 3500 rev, something like limit it,

didn't cut rev, only don't let pass that,

as soon as change to higher gear like normal,

when hit 3500rpm, happen again,

like drive non turbo starlet & limit @ 3500rpm

do the diagnostics test

local garage done it, but only test it as a non turbo starlet

and they said engine has no pressure to the turbo,

then turbo pressure and turbo changed, still the same

get them to do the Toyota diagnostics test, or do it yourself.

i posted instructions on how to do it.

If there is a faulty sensor, this will show it up.

thanks for that, just print the whole page, will try

thx

Doesn't this mean it's gone into safe mode?

Would a ECU reset fix it?

It may be that a sensor has failed or for some reason is giving a false reading so the ECU goes into a safe mode. Resetting the ECU may solve this, but if the problem is a faulty sensor then this may occur again.

Suggest doing the diagnostics test to get any error codes, then decide from there.

any idea how to reset the ecu, i did try to take fuse out & in, contact and discontact Battery, still the same.

also is there only one senser contral the turbo pressure (the black one with orange lable just below the chassis number, that's what has been replace.

toyotasera.co.uk diagnostics test information, but my english not really good, don't really understand how to do it,

anyway had order a ecu today. will see what happen next when other ecu fit
