Why don't you save your cash rather than buying a pretentious number plate.

I found M22 GPA (MR2 my initials) for £750 - too dear for me :(

Then I found B14 GPA (post code initials) for £150 - the then G/F said now way as she didn't see the point of private plates!!! AND it wasn't even her car!!!

Now with my MR2 going for an "A" service it'll have to wait even longer...

quite easy to solve this problem. Why not change your name by deed poll to match your current reg. Mine ends in BWH so i could go and be named big willy hairy or big w**k head or something of that ilk.

May not be that impressive but sure saves a fortune. :P

Would like to see the w****r who pays out hundreds of thousands for a No. plate. Silly prat. all £££££ no sense.

The DVLA are making fools out of everyone. :censor: :ffs:

best one is when you can get your name for 250 quid.

Do you guys think its pointless geting one of these?

I've seen one I like for £250 but it relates to the car rather than my name, its starts with an A so no-one's gonna guess my reg year, but what happens when i sell the car? Do you think pay another £80 to sell it on or try & add the cost to the car's value? I think the latter wouldn't worK!

Any thoughts?

When you minus the £80 transfer fee from the £250 its a double bargin really, no other plate company includes that & some of them don't include VAT either so it is a good price...
