Avensis Centre Console

Hi,

Can anyone with the following?....

I am trying to source a 2nd hand centre console (radio & vent surround) for my Mk1 1.8SE Avensis.

My car was unfortunately broken into by some thieving scum :ffs: who tried to steal the back part of the stereo, even though the front part was safely out of the car. In doing so, the spineless pond-life damaged the centre console. :censor:

I'm trying to avoid having to pay the dealers price for a new one (just shy of £100 )

My trim is the 'granite' style, NOT wood.

Does have a console to sell, or know of a MK1 Avensis being broken for spares?

Anyone seen one in a breakers down here in the South East?

I'd appreciate any help.

I had a brill response from http://www.247spares.co.uk. They text my mobile and E-mailed me to tell me who had one. I phoned the number given, explained what I wanted , haggled a little, and agreed on a price! I needed a centre armrest for my 53 plate avensis( cos toyota are too tight to put it in a T3-S) It was £300 from the dealer, I had one for £45 including delivery! They carefully took it all apart and didnt even scratch it. :D

The other source thats good is part finder , also on the net.

I've tried 247spares but with no luck.

Found a couple of MK2's being broken for spares on eBay if anyone's interested. No MK1's though. :(
