When Is A Levin A Levin?

Or a Trueno? or a Sprinter?

I was wondering about names, why are some Corollas called 'Levin' and others are not? is there some reason? do specific models have specific features?

Just out of mad interest!

They are all the same. Just that these Trueno or Levin or Sprinter are manufactured from different manufacturer in Japan or USA.

Ahh ok so in th UK its known as 'Corolla' and us/jdm Levin etc

So you are also a Silvia S12 lover. I have 2 of them!

Levin is not only AE86 but also AE101 and AE111 (latest model)

Answering as one of the token 'Americans' on this forum :P , the 'Levin' never made it state side. There have been only the corollas. And most of them after the Corolla GT-S (AE86) were sedan and coupe. After 1992, however, there were no more coupes, only sedans.

And I think the Levin has non flip lights, and the Tureno had flip lights.

hi i have a trueno sprinter gtz mine comes with pop up lights and the levin just as normal ones apart from that they are the same car
