Hi,

I have just ordered an NX system for my Corolla (1.6 E12 2002).

I know I need to change sprak plugs for DENSO Iridium, "colder" then the stock ones. (1 degree)

Could anyone help me and tell how can I check my stock sprak plugs? What temp. do they have?

Hi zetemte,

Take out one of your plugs (prob 21mm socket) and look at the code on the side, it is manufacturer specific, but will contain a number. This number will be the grade of plug. Remeber, the HIGHER the number, the colder the plug!

To be fair, someone on here should know the stock plug grade, if you can't be ubikd taking them out.

Depending on how much power you intend to add with the nitrous, it is reccommended that you !Removed! you timing, I don't know if the stock ECU will take care of this for you. The company you are buying the kit from will probably be able to advise you, but if you're only using a smallish jet (25hp?), I doubt it will be necessary.

Anyway, enjoy your new system!

James
