car looks a lot better now, really suit the 2. so now the old 15s are off and sitting in the garden, never noticed just how light they are though, could only carry 1 at a time of new 16s but the old 15s are realy light, carry 2 no bother!

i'll post a few pics when i have them, next is new pads, droplinks, ball joints, then the tracking done. respray end of april (hopefully) and get the bugger lowered, looks like a 4x4 at the moment.

Well i went for the 40mm springs for rev 3 springs which dropped mine about 60mm!

but they do them for the rev 1/2 which will lower a proper 40mm and will still look really good.

They are £80 plus whatever the postage is (about a tenner)

owt over an inch and its recommended you uprate the dampers, if you jakj the car up the spring doesnt come free does it? im tempted with the 60 drop as im sick of these high altitude nose bleeds, and my for probe owning work mate taking the mick.

Springs dont fall out the seats when jacked up mate,

but you can fit them without the need for spring compressors

will still need compressors to remove old ones? i know i seem ignorant but this an area of a car ive never worked on before, any ive done is comp[lete assembly swap, but i like to do as much as i can on my own, more satisfying knowing ive done it!

You will need them to remove the old ones,

not a difficult job just give all the nuts and bolts a good spray with

wd40 well before you start because they'll be solid and rusty!

Pi... Ive had them on a few cars and never had any complaints.

Can be a little bouncy on really rough roads but on the motorway etc

they are very comfy and the handeling has been transformed...hardley any noticable roll.

One question tho.. why did you go for 16's and not 17's or even better 18's. They look the nads.

Cheers
