Exhausts And Uneven Running

My exhaust is blowing from the front edge of the backbox and I am on the hunt for a replacement, I have already had a repair made in another place so I think its time to replace it!

I have found a couple of 2nd hand exhausts (can't really afford a new system :( but these are off jap ST185's - I have a UK ST182 - will a GT4 exhaust fit my car?

Also, at around the same time the exhaust started blowing, the engine started running slightly unevenly when I came on and off the power, it hesitates and you can feel it jerking for a second or two then it stops. This happens when you apply a small amout of throttle and only then. Is this related to the blowing exhaust or smething else?

The engine is otherwise sound and gets looked after, shes done 153k, cam belt was changed approx. 4k miles ago

Not sure about the missing it may be a factor but I just changed my backbox due to a hole. Got it from a scrappers for £15 (itll do till the full stainless goes on)

Dout itll fit mate, remember the GT4 have rear diff,prop,altered tank etc to a 182.

Have you tried looking at powerflow exhausts, cheapish,plus can pick your exit size, just a thought cos i had one on my last 182.

Cheers mate, yeah that was me at JAE, sold it not long after that :( still miss it sometimes. Will be there again this year but with my 4 instead

from what I can rememeber(bit hazy due to beer and caffene od(ta rich/rhaines) didnt you have the back lights sprayed with the toyota logo..they looked really good
