Hence so many pics of cars being shammied!

Oops....

Well here we go for the Bracknell Story.....

We (me & Scot as passenger) arrived at Reading Services at 10am thinking we would be the first as we were half an hour early to find Chris Shipley (Red IS) already sipping his coffee which made finding where to park easier, Badger, Roadrunner and Screech were close behind with Fidgets and Mrs. Mop taking there time and arriving thirty minutes later. After a couple of coffee's and computer games we headed...

Typical start to the day, it looked as if we might get some sun so the roof came off and 5 minutes onto the motorway nice heavy rain started to fall, no time to stop just keep the speed up so the water didn't come in the car. Scott was hanging out the window half of the time showing off his photographic skills (some amazing shots were taken but me being a pleb left the cable I need in the office, you'll have to wait till Tuesday).

Upon arrival we didn't have to wait that long to surrender our £3 duty and find some parking spaces, perfect timiing as there was a nice long bay for the Lexi to park in, me and Badger found some spaces next to the other MR2's and Roadrunner being the only Celica in sight sulked and found

a spot on his own between some older Supra's (probably trying to hide his faded twin-tone drivers door :P).

A quick shammy (thanks Badger/Bobcat/Solly) and all the cars were looking nice and prestine ready for a quick walkabout before the heavens decided to say hello, time to put the roof on and grab a sandwhich from the cafe....

Back out and a look around at a great range of Cars, everything from those pesky little Pulsar GTI-R's that were using the road outside as a dragstrip upto a meaty Mines Skyline. The Supra's were out in force with a couple of scooby's for good measure, there really was an amazing variety of toys to look at....

With all the big toys out it was amazing to see the biggest crowd of the day was one by LittleLex (1/10th Scale !Removed! quick IS) and a 1/10th Scale Supra racing around....

Four shammy's later and a couple of aching feet it was time to head on home, or that was the plan...

Me, Badger and Roadrunner hit the motorway and in the sun had time to get some more of Scot's amazing photo's (again posted Tuesday as I'm a pleb)and ended up in a pub somewhere to see what photo's we'd got as Scot was the only one who could see them....

Finally made it home with a crack in the windscreen approx 40cm long and the gold Badge I'd ever so carefull stuck on yesterday after the 7.5 hours polishing falling off (I have it to put on properly this time)....

All in all another great day out :)

Hope to see more of you at the next meet....

I have to admit that this was one of the best Jap car meets I have ever been too. The quality of the Scoobys, Evos, Skylines, Celicas, FTOs, Supras and of course Toyotas and Lexus' was amazing. Some really fantastic cars on display.

Great to put yet more faces to names, and had good day all round.

Nice pics - where are the others? There were at lest 5 of you lot with digi cams!

Until next time - stay safe kids.............. :D
