hi guys

newbie here - anyone know what the max bhp potential of the chargecooler in an st205 is. i know its a vague sort of question and have some experince of these things, but is there a point in st205 tuning where they reach thier limit and you cannot keep the act's low enough ? :D :D

hmmm, prob around 320-350bhp, this seems to be the rough limit for stock internals.

a certain andy ashby of fensport fame saw 450bhp still on the stock chargecooler. obviously there were a lot of other mods but chargecooler was un modified (other than pump running continualy). hope that is within limits as its what i want from it

pre 1996 3sgte engines have a thinner block wall between pistons so taking this engine to the limits will be easier than with that of an after 1996 engine.
