Was doing a bit of testing over the weekend. Here are some details for you ..

Running 1 bar boost, no air scoops.

Off boost

Air intake temps : 15/20 degrees

IC intake temps : 50/70 degrees

IC out temps : 20/30 degrees

Ambient engine temps : 50/80 degrees

On boost

Air intake temps : 20/25 degrees

IC intake temps : 70/150 degrees

IC out temps : 30/55 degrees

Ambient engine temps : 80/130 degrees

Then with WI on boost

Air intake temps : 20/25 degrees

IC intake temps : 70/150 degrees

IC out temps : 25/35 degrees

Ambient engine temps : 80/110 degrees

Rough remembering there .. getting a few other tweaks and then will be re-trying.

sounds good m8.

shows that water injection really does work. are you using a methanol mix in it?

Nope, that was just water .. no Methanol.

One lap of the ring where I couldn't get over 120 on the back straight due to it being too hot, then the next lap with WI she got back up to about 135 ..

go to a model shop and get some methanol ( make sure its pure methanol, not mixed with casteroil)

makes quite a bit of differance, mix it 50/50 with water. also bumps up your octane a bit too

ERL aka Aquamist recomend using methanol based screen wash in their systems

Always best to run the WI system with some methanol in the system if only to prevent freezeing in winter as ice wil really mess up the pump.
