when i got my alloys fitted i was told at the garage that i need new front ball joints and new pads.

ive bought the gear and went to fit them and found that the pads are fine and so are the ball joints. however i checked the back ball joints and they're the ones he must have meant, but now i need to know if the front ball joints are identical to the rear?

need to keep one of the fronts as ive damaged the one on the car trying to release it, the castle nut wont fit back on cos the bolt has brayed out where ive been hitting it. give other one back but with surcharge cos it was ordered specially.

rear ball joints ARE different so i'll have to order them ready for wednesday when my 2 is booked in at garage. but its off the road till then cos the replacement nut holding the damaged ball joint just cant be trusted.

DAMMIT my holidays have just started as well
