Which Intercooler ?

Recommended Posts

Money being secondary consideration (up to about a grand anyway), which intercooler should I order ?

Must buy it tomorrow, for Friday delivery, and Garage fitment on Monday.

Primary consideration is functionallity. Need to to cool the air ! My current intercooler (std) is not doing the job at 18PSI.

I HEAR that the Spearco is probably one of the best aftermarket direct replacements.

The one I'm looking at is a custom IC.

Comes with hardpipes , re-located BOV, and the option of adding WI and external water spray later.

More details as I'm testing it.

How long Ben till it goes on sale roughly? What sort of price are we talking with all the water nonsense?

I can't wait for this, sounds great!

exactly what I'm after.

Cheers,

Michael.

I'll have an ask with the engineers ..

I've been told about £800 for the IC

and then Paul Ports WI is about £300 .. dunno about the external water spray ..

Slight delay on fitting, so didnt need to order it today in the end.

I'm about to order a Greddy from nengun.com, £450ish seems good price to me, seen them advertised for nearly double at other websites.

Water IC would rock, but having an extension built on the house, so money is a bit of a factor really.

Yer nengun seems to have a good reputation, just can take a while to get your order at times thought.

Ordered a Power FC from there recently, but got to wait 4 weeks for the suppilier.
