Timing / Tuning

Recommended Posts

Having only bought my MR2 a couple of months ago after many years running fairly new boring cars i decided to get rid of the car payments and spend it on a car that turns heads ,goes like stink and is such great fun to drive.

On buying the car i knew it needed work as it'd been stood for a year in a barn so the only work it needed was clutch / plugs leads oil etc and decided for piece of mind to put a timing belt on it.

The car seems to run ok with bags of power after 4000 RPM but seems to drink fuel just wondered if any of you know how the timing can be adjusted and would it be worthwhile getting the car tuned.

Look forward to your comments

Regards
