Cigarette Lighter

Dear All,

I have just got my Prius II and been using it for two weeks now. I am however unable to find a cigarette lighter where I can connect my mobile phone charger. Is there any one in this car or somewhere in the car that I can recharge my mobile phone.

Thanks.

This is located in the Rear console box. Lift up the arm rest / lid and the socket is in there. See page 164 of the manual.

I guess its to discourage smoking. The refer to it as an accessory socket rather than a cigarete lighter.

Its a shame that RHD cars don't get the second socket at the bottom of the facia like LHD cars do...

I wonder why we don't?

The smoking comment is probably true: ashtrays are an "option" too, of course.

Neil.

(done nearly 500 miles now, with the prospect of lots more next week - still grinning at the 50+ MPG!)
