Hey there, i am looking to add another amp to my car audio setup. At the moment i have a JBL 600w amp running in tri mode amping the 6*9's and the sub. However my JBL components in the front are not amped up at all. There are a few things i need to know before i buy a 2 channel amp to power the front comps.

How do i split the remote on lead to power 2 amps?

Is it ok to use another single amp wiring kit as the new amp will only be 300w max or is a dual amp wiring kit necessary?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Richard

my advice is so run the fron comps with the current amp and run the 6x9s with the CD player...

if you want to amp up both front and rear Speakers then - yeah - you can use another single amp wiring kit...

to split the remote-on wire: just connect the remote-on of the new amp to the remote-on of the old amp... as simple as that...

ok thanks for the advice mate i think i will do that and if i decide i want some more power i will install another amp later.

Whats the best way to run the wires to the components?

And how about extending the current cables going to the door to the back of the car should that be easy enough to do?

Any more help would be fantastic.

Thanks
