Hi All,

I just bought myself a Gen 6 Celica ST (25th Aniv Ed), only prob with it is the parcel shelf on it is a bit gubbed. Does anyone know of any websites that I could get a replacement one (prefferably for cheap).

Cheers,

Chris.

u could always try making you own

get some 12mm mdf, draw around the original parcel shelf jig saw it out, check it fits ok, cut out the any holes for Speakers so that thay can be bolted up underneath the pacel shelf (if u r fitting speaker into the shelf), glue and screw two lengths of 1 inch by 1 inch PSE timber along the lenght of the parcel to prevent it from sagging ,then cover the top of the pacel shelf with felt and if u are going to insall expensive 6x9's thay will be hidden away from pryin eyes

Cheers steve o, looks like I'm gonna have to do it the DIY way. I've been looking around and can't find any sites that do them, not even e-bay.

Time to go to B&Q.

Very nice, think I may steal the idea of the toyota logo on it, makes it a bit more distinctive.

Give TOYOTA CELICA BREAKERS a call on 01579 383879. They helped me once and if they are still in business may be a good source.

Tried them, but apparently they've not got any left. Looks like I'll be cutting away with a jig-saw.

Happy days, Always fun when power tools are involved. :D

lol  !!! I don't see myself going that crazy with it,

Can you think of anything a bit lighter than MDF that would do for a parcel shelf, but still won't rattle????

I have no plans to put any Speakers or anything in it, so strength isn't an issue. I just wan it to stay light enough that it wall still lift up by the strings when you open the boot.

Plywood, perspex, cardboard

Go for a thinish MDF but 1 that will be thick enough to take its weight
