Serious Problem....

Ok, when my car idles, it doesn't really idle. It'll engage like the celoniod(sp?) is still engaged in the transmission. It'll rev really high and want to go.... Then it'll drop really low. Then it'll do it again.

Also, if it's reving really hi, and I turn it off.... 1 out of every 20 times, it won't start up again unless I leave it for a little while.

I've check the oil, it was fine. I've check the coolant, also fine. I took it to the trannie place that rebuilt my trannie, they said everything checked out. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

i dont think its a trans problem, more a timing problem, give the ignition system a good clean up so the engine and trans work together at the same revs.
