Full Colour Satnav

Hi,

Had the new Avensis T-spirit with full colour satnav for a month now, but I always have to set/confirm the language when the ignition is turned on.

This is very irritating, is this normal behaviour?

I took the car to the dealer who claims it is usual, and a "safety feature", I am not convinced he knew what he was on about.

Also. Does anyone know if this is compatible with TMC if I get an enabled disk?

Sorry to say, but this is standard - Personally, I open the screen by pressing the 'Map' button on the remote and then just keep pressing the OK button until the message clears!

Just as annoying is the fact that the voice guidance setting is ALWAYS on by default - why can't the system remember the previous :censor: setting?

Anyone have an answer on whether TMC is suported?
