Clear Rear Lights Generation 5

Hi does any body know were to get clear rear light for the gen 5 and if not any idears for legal fabrication of i.e ones that will pass uk m.o.t

help please

:) my neighbour (very nice man!!) is an mot inspector the rules are you can have clear lenses BUT the bulbs must be the correct colour ie/amber red u do not have to have a reverse light.

i am doin the same thing on my gen 6 as the only conversions available are very expensive for what u get (no offence to anyone who has them)

now here is the intrestin bit the lights in the quad conversion are CARAVAN LIGHTS!! i have sourced and ordered six for myself at£15 a go they are a bargain the fun bit is goin to be fittin em.

Its going to be dificult with the gen 5 cos of the red strip that runs across the back. Going to look a bit odd having clear lenses and a big red bit. Wouldn`t mind converting my rear corners to clear or smoked tho.

funky products used to be able to get a hold of 'Active' rear lights, can't find a pic of them just now but they could b what your after

Found some round spot rear lights which are e marked from a company called jokon site address is jokon.de the supplyer in the uk is in poole they have given me a very very good quote at only£5.88 each + v.a.t so have ordered 6.

I have also bought a set a used lights for my car to canabalis so if I do ***** up At least Ive got spares. Will post pics once I have got round to doing it.
