Reflect F 4wd & Turbo Engine ?

Hi,

The pics below show a JDM Starlet Reflect F. It has 4WD, automatic gearbox, ABS, A/C etc etc

Im new on here and have a quick question. I have tried to use the search but no luck.

All i want to know is, will the turbo engine etc bolt up to the 4WD drivetrain ?

i remember seeing it done somewhere before... im not sure how strong the drivetrain is tho, its from the 1.5 diesel isnt it?

ye it ca be done bud.

quest 4 of newzealand have done it.

but the car has covered very few miles.

people say that the drivetrain is week but no one has actualy done this to say that,

I can't see the need. The Starlet turbo's unique selling point is its power to weight ratio. The 4WD system will knock that out of the sky - all the fast 4wd rally replicas are 2 litres at least.

You'd have to tune the car to about 160hp just to get the power to weight ratio back.

and unfortunatly, the gearbox will just blow up with the extra power. they aint made to take the sort of power that the 4efte produces.
