is there any reason why i should reset my ecu, ive not had no problems or added anything...but is it good to reset it every now n then?

Not really worthwhile if you've done nothing to the engine or changed the type of fuel you use IMO. It doesn't hurt to reset it every now an then, but kind of pointless as the ECU is a self learning one so any minor changes will be noted by it over a space of time.

It's only if you want a quicker learning by the ECU a reset is needed.
