Hi, does anyone know if they ever put the 114bhp D4D engine in the old shape Avensis, just asking because a friend is looking for one. :D

Are you talking about the diesel yes? I'm not sure about your neck of the woods but they sold the 110bhp 2.0 D4D over here from the late 2000 facelifted model. This replaced the old 90bhp 2.0 TD unit in the original Avensis. They sold quite alot of them here almost as common as the petrol models. I presume this the same engine you are talking about.

Hi, yes I was talking about the 109bhp engine, but I thought I had read somewhere that they put the 114bhp D-4d engine that is currently in the new Avensis in the last of the line previous Avensis.
