I only found it the other week too - do like the twin exhaust - may have to find out the price methinks ...

Was thinking about the lowering kit too (did it on my Lexus) but concerned in case the geometry won't return to the factory settings - anyone here done it ?

Rich (celtictricky) has the TTE exhaust fitted on his Rav, check out this link HERE...

As for the lowering kit, I don't think anyone has done it here.....(I might be wrong though :P )

 Be carefull with lowering your vehicle, your insurance company might give you a shock , It becomes a modified vehicle, check first , it may be a very expensive mod. Sparkydog

Yes I know - lowered my Lex and it cost an extra £95 / yr - then added a strut brace and it didn't cost any more 'cos I had already declared "modified suspension".

Still can't decide with the RAV though - sort of defeats having a 4x4 - though it did make a huge difference to the handling on the Lex.

Perhaps I need to see it / have a ride in one already done before deciding ...

 Many years ago ,I found a German company that specialised in lowering 4X4'sI think it was linked to Cobra somehow , It had some very good photo's of projects . I will try to trawl through my old files later this week and find them

Hi All

Sorry but very new to your forum but what I have read is very helpful. Anyway being a Rav 4 owner I can appreciate your admiration of the TTE twin pipe system. I myself bought one for my 2004 XT3. I wanted to make the Rav have a bit more growl until I was stopped in my tracks by the the missus who put a block to the whole idea saying it was a bit on the boyish side. So if you know anybody who is willing to make me a good offer for an unfitted TTE twin pipe system which sadly has sat in my shed for a good while than make an offer. I can send pics if you like.

Id rather sell it to one of you guys then shift it on eBay.
