Santa Pod 10 April

Hi fellow regional peoples B)

Just to include all my buds from TOC and to let you lot know that Northants Jap is holding their monthly meet on Sunday 10th of April (yes this Sunday!!! Appologies for the late posting). Obviously TOC is welcome too B)

This month it takes similar form to our last TOC only meet, where at 09:00 we will be meeting at Hungry Horse Pub/Megabowl car parks Sixfields, Northampton and then convoying to Santa Pod to spend the day there.

Cost is £10 entrance to Santa Pod and £15 to sign up to drag your car (unlimited runs). If you plan on racing your car, bring your license.

Also bring warm clothes as it gets a tad cold even in the height of summer.

managed to get someone to work my sunday so me and Rachel will be there.

If the weathers good we will be in the MR2 and if the weathers bad we will be in the Surf

So we'll meet you all at the Pod

That sucks Richard. Although I should be saving money too I need the new front wings for the MKI ASAP as a section fell off last week It's all being held together with gaffer tape

Oh well... gotta at least have some fun from time to time B)

Found £30 in change (under bed, sofa and car seats)

so that will cover petrol & admission to POD

plus it works out cheaper than Donny cos there's no trade stands to use the battered credit card on.

i have had to take nos out of car as im using too much showing off with purge valves it willdrop a chavs jaw form 300 paces

Yes thats the olny problem with purge kits it looks really cool when you blast out execpt it waste expensive N2O i take you will be refitting them for Sunday.

On another note... I'm obviously not going to be running my car on the strip if we do even go. Due to possible valve/pitons/headgasket/rings/cylinder issues the MKI will prolly only just make it there and back Re-build/transplant eminent

I will update local weather report at around 7am Sunday morning.

If it is raining or looks like Santa Pod is going to be a wash out, We will meet at the Hungry Horse Pub (address for auto route above) at 12 instead of 9 and have some refreshements.

If weather is clear or not a wash-out, then we meet at hungry Horse at 9am to convoy to the Pod I'd imagine we'll be leaving in convoy at 9:20/9:30ish.
