wanting to put a air induction kit on my gen 7 190 celica can any one tell me if these fek ya car up in time and does it alter the tone of the engine,can any one recomend one at resonable price.

tryin to do the same with my 190 tiptronic

tried a ractive filter straight on to the intake manifold but the car wouldn't even idle! and wouldn't rev past 3000 - went back to normal as soon as the standard filter went back in - its something to do with the mass airflow sensor - there's way more electrics on the 7 than there were on the 6

it did sound absolutely amazing though! - never heard anything like it from just an induction kit

there is a kit from AEM thats built specifically for the 7th gen but there still can be problems - and they're hard to get - from ireland anyway

anyone with any info/exerience would be doin me a favour too!

I heard from a Toyota Mechanic that Blitz do a good'un for the Gen 7.

Also what about sticking in a TRD HIGH FLOW SPORTS FILTER. Around £70 but apparently it's does the business over a normal filter.
